Victoria Moore
Victoria is a member of the technology team advising on a wide range of commercial contracts with particular emphasis on those involving technology and intellectual property. She advises on the licensing and ownership of intellectual property, procurement of content, brands and IT systems, maintenance and support arrangements, agency and distribution agreements, franchise arrangements.
Victoria works for clients in a variety of sectors from online businesses, drinks companies and travel operators to financial institutions, those in traditional manufacturing industries and aerospace and defence sector. Her experience to date includes drafting, advising on and negotiation of standard form and complex supply and distribution arrangements; website / software development, services contracts; maintenance and hosting; warehousing arrangements; content acquisition and licensing.
Victoria, originally qualified in Scotland and latterly in England, spent a number of years working in both private practice (for a technology focused international firm) and in-house (in a diverse range of business sectors) in London for domestic and international clients and as a result has a solid appreciation of the intricacies of the commercial and political demands on businesses and the need for practical solutions and bespoke legal drafting.
Victoria has a particular interest in the media sector having spent time working in-house with a major ISP and an international media organisation.
